As everyone is certainly well aware, Joseph Kony has probably become a household name for anyone who is on the internet. Invisible Children, the organization that has brought this man to light, has been working on him for years, as well as tons of other issues, all happening in Africa. However, as no good deed goes unpunished, the explosion of new supporters has also created the rise of those who are refuting and attacking Invisible Children. There are those who have found conspiracies and whatnot concerning the organization, but above all people seem to be noticing that their finances are rather odd, in that only 30% of their money goes toward charity. What people might not realize is that Invisible Children IS a charity organization, and part of the Combined Federal Campaign

I have seen the financial reports for the previous year and upon examination with my father- who is a financial director- we noticed that less than 10% of the yearly accumulated wealth went to salary for their employees. The greatest percentage went to "general services," what is understood to be their efforts in Africa, and their productions, presentations and travel costs. Essentially, they use their wealth to grow their own charity work and to help others, not themselves. You can find their financial information for the years prior here:

Hello anyone who bothers reading my journal! This one is going to involve anyone who wants to participate, so if you want free sketches, keep reading.
In an attempt to further my art skills, I'm going to be opening up requests. For each request, I'll require a ref, hopefully one of a real-life photograph, but definitely one of a greater artistic level than mine. Else it wouldn't be much practice to draw it.
The request sketch is going to be traditional and may be shaded, and will probably deviate a little from the original (like if in the original two people were looking at the camera, I might draw them looking at each other instead). I will be concentrating on:

Detail

Proportion

Backgrounds

Creases in clothing
I will not be concentrating on:

Getting the expressions perfect

Facial features

Coloring
There are only ten spots and each person is allowed two requests. First come first serve.
